It was an honor and a privilege to be the guest speaker and chief guest at Loyola Academy, Hyderabad, on the occasion of Commerce Day 2023. The event was graced by the presence of approximately 150 B.Com Honours students who are part of an integrated CMA (US) program.
During the one-hour session, we delved into two critical aspects of finance: Behavioral Finance and Financial Planning. Behavioral Finance, the study of how human psychology influences financial decisions, and Financial Planning, the art of achieving financial goals, were the central themes of this enriching discourse.
As an experienced finance professional, my aim was to provide students with insights into the intricate interplay between human behavior and financial choices. The session not only explored the psychological aspects affecting investment decisions but also emphasized the importance of sound financial planning to secure a prosperous future.
The students’ enthusiasm and active participation were truly inspiring, and their thirst for knowledge was evident throughout the session. The interaction with these young minds was a delightful experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their education. Such events serve as a reminder of the boundless potential and bright futures of these aspiring finance professionals.
