I had the privilege of being the guest speaker at St. Ann’s College for Women, Hyderabad, for an enlightening session organized by the Department of Commerce. This session brought together a special group of students from Non-Commerce background such as B.A and B.Sc with few students with specialization in Economics.
The session delved into crucial topics, including Behavioral Finance and Financial Planning, which explored the fascinating world of understanding human behavior’s impact on financial decisions. We also ventured into Personal Finance, discussing the influence of financial experts and effective cost of debt in managing one’s finances.
The highlight of the session was the exploration of the Behavioral Aspects of Financial Decision Making, shedding light on how human psychology plays a pivotal role in shaping our financial choices. The active engagement and inquisitive minds of the participants added immense value to the session, making it an inspiring interaction. Such events serve as a testament to the insatiable thirst for knowledge among these aspiring finance professionals, and I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to contribute to their journey of financial enlightenment.

I had the privilege of leading an enriching session at Finsignments Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, where I addressed a distinguished gathering from the Accounts & Finance Department and the F.A.T Strategies Consultation Team.
The session revolved around three essential topics: Credit Monitoring & Assessment, Financial Calculations for Term Loans, and the intricate aspects of Time Value of Money (TVM), Credit Monitoring Analysis (CMA) Data, and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) – their preparation and evaluation. These topics hold the key to informed decision-making in the finance realm and were explored in detail to provide valuable insights.
Interacting with a dynamic group of finance professionals from Finsignments Pvt Ltd was both inspiring and fulfilling. Behavioral Finance & Financial Planning
It was an honor and a privilege to be the guest speaker and chief guest at Loyola Academy, Hyderabad, on the occasion of Commerce Day 2023. The event was graced by the presence of approximately 150 B.Com Honours students who are part of an integrated CMA (US) program.
During the one-hour session, we delved into two critical aspects of finance: Behavioral Finance and Financial Planning. Behavioral Finance, the study of how human psychology influences financial decisions, and Financial Planning, the art of achieving financial goals, were the central themes of this enriching discourse.
As an experienced finance professional, my aim was to provide students with insights into the intricate interplay between human behavior and financial choices. The session not only explored the psychological aspects affecting investment decisions but also emphasized the importance of sound financial planning to secure a prosperous future.
The students’ enthusiasm and active participation were truly inspiring, and their thirst for knowledge was evident throughout the session. The interaction with these young minds was a delightful experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their education. Vellore Institure of Technology (VIT)
Presentation of Financial Statements under Ind AS & IFRS
I had the privilege of delivering an enriching “Industry Expert Lecture” to approximately 150 B.Com students via a Google online meet. Over a course of 2.5 hours, we delved into the intricate world of International Accounting Standards, focusing on three crucial topics: IAS 1 – Presentation of Financial Statements, IAS 8 – Accounting Policies and Changes in Accounting, and IAS 10 – Events After the Reporting Period.
Throughout the lecture, we explored the intricacies of these standards, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of financial reporting, accounting policies, and the critical aspects of recognizing and addressing events occurring after the reporting period. My aim was not only to convey the technical aspects of these standards but also to instill the practical knowledge and skills that are invaluable for their academic and professional journey.
With a dynamic and engaging approach, I aimed to make the complex world of international accounting standards accessible and relatable to the students. The interactive session encouraged questions, discussions, and a deeper exploration of the subject matter. As a passionate educator and finance professional, my goal is to equip these students with the tools they need to excel in their studies and future careers. The lecture received positive feedback, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the academic growth and success of these young minds.
